Eighth-ranked Singh rallied to beat Cal's 66th-ranked Ben McLachlan, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, while No. 16 Pieters edged Ole Miss' Johan Backstrom, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Eric Diaz came from behind to defeat the Rebels' Zach Wilder, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, and Brasseaux outlasted Adrian Forberg Skogeng of Ole Miss, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Forberg Skogeng served for the match with a 5-4 lead in the third set, but Brasseaux rallied for his second win in as many days.

Georgia's 19th-ranked Nathan Pasha fell to Ole Miss' No. 95 William Kallberg, 7-5, 6-4, and Cal's Campbell Johnson topped Marco Nunez, 6-3, 6-1.

"We finished the day in really good form, winning the last four matches in three sets, including three matches where we lost the first set," head coach Manuel Diaz said. "Our guys really showed some toughness in winning those last four matches. Nathan and Marco lost to two really good players who had great days against us. Overall it was another good day."

They day began with doubles, and Georgia picked up a pair of wins. The 25th-ranked team of Pasha and Singh beat Ole Miss' tandem of Kallberg and Forberg Skogeng, 8-4, while Brasseaux and Nunez blanked Nick Hoyle and Corey Smith of California, 8-0. Eric Diaz and Casey Kay fell to Backstrom and Stefan Lindmark, and the fifth-ranked tandem of Pieters and Wagland dropped an 8-4 decision to Johnson and Christoffer Konigsfeldt.

"I'm still very happy with the way KU and Nathan have played in doubles," Diaz said. "I don't think Hernus and Ben have played as well as they're capable of playing, but we had a good chat and I believe they'll be ready to play some good tennis tomorrow. I still have confidence in them, and they'll bounce back."

The final day of the National Collegiate Tennis Classic will begin Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET.
