Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Defenseman Jonathan Ericsson scored with 4.5
seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2
win over the Los Angeles Kings at Joe Louis Arena.
The game appeared destined for overtime, with Kings blueliner Alec Martinez
netting the equalizer with 52.8 seconds left in regulation.
But Ericsson ripped a slap shot from the right point that sneaked through Los
Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick and trickled across the goal line.
