Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Alex Rios clubbed a two-run home run in the
fifth to help the Chicago White Sox halt a four-game skid with a 3-2 victory
over the Cleveland Indians in the finale of a rain-shortened series at U.S.
Jose Quintana (2-0) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks over five
frames, while Addison Reed worked around a two-out single in the ninth to
secure his sixth save of the season.
Jeff Keppinger collected two hits and knocked in the other run for the White
Sox, who earned a split in the series after the middle test was postponed due
Zach McAllister (1-3) absorbed the loss after giving up three runs on five
hits and five walks over 5 2/3 frames.
Jason Kipnis and Mark Reynolds each registered an RBI for the Indians, who had
won three straight, including a 3-2 decision in Monday's series opener.
