Terre Haute, IN (Sports Network) - Manny Arop scored 13 points as the Indiana
State Sycamores defeated the Bradley Braves, 68-53, in a Missouri Valley
Conference tilt at the Hulman Center.
Arop was 4-of-7 from the field for the Sycamores (10-5, 3-1 MVC), who have won
four of their last five games. Justin Gant also tallied 13 points to go along
with five rebounds and three blocks. Jake Odum added 11 points.
Walt Lemon Jr. scored 15 points and swiped four steals for the Braves (10-6,
2-2), who lost for the second time in a row. Jake Eastman led Bradley on the
glass with eight rebounds while Dyricus Simms-Edwards finished with nine
points and five steals.
Indiana State took a 28-25 lead into the break after connecting on 47.8
