free-throw line, finishing with 19 points, as the Iona Gaels captured a 66-62
win over the Siena Saints in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play at the
Times Union Center.

followed by A.J. English with 11 points off the bench.
The Saints (2-12, 0-3) were paced by O.D. Anosike who registered yet another
double-double with 19 points and a game-high 15 boards, but still the squad
suffered a 10th consecutive setback. Rob Poole accounted for 18 points and
eight boards for the hosts.

was able to open with a 6-0 run before having to battle back to a 29-24 lead
at the break.
In the second half the lead reached double digits for the Saints several
times, but down the stretch it was a series of free throws by Jones, English

In a game that featured three ties and 13 lead changes, Iona picked up the
win despite shooting only 37.9 percent from the floor.
