Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Trevin Harris didn't miss a shot en route to a team-high 16 points, as Pacific held off Xavier, 70-67, on Thursday at the DIRECTV Classic from Anaheim Convention Center.

Harris was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, including 4-of-4 from 3-point range, while Travis Fulton and Tony Gill netted 10 points apiece for the Tigers (2-2), who had lost two straight.

Pacific advances to take on the winner between Drexel and Saint Mary's on Friday.

Semaj Christon paced Xavier (3-1) with a game-high 18 points and six assists and Dee Davis followed with 14 points in the setback, the Musketeers' first of the season.

Pacific held a 10-point edge with over nine minutes remaining thanks to a 7-0 spurt, which Fulton capped with a 3-pointer to make it 56-46.

The Musketeers pulled within three with under two minutes left after a Justin Martin triple, but the Tigers responded with six straight points to make it 70-61 with 35 seconds left.

Xavier answered with a Davis trey to pull within six and after Sama Taku missed the front end of a one-and-one, Martin nailed another triple to cut the lead to three with four seconds left.

Lorenzo McCloud left the door open for Xavier after missing the first of two free throws at the other end, but Davis' half-court heave at the buzzer bounced off the rim and Pacific held on for the victory.
