(WXIA) - The deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan is the site of one of three college basketball games being played aboard naval vessels Friday.

The Bataan is anchored in Jacksonville, and will play host to the Navy-Marine Corps Classic battle between Georgetown and No. 10 Florida at 9 p.m.

The historic carrier USS Yorktown is anchored in Charleston as a museum ship and will play host to two games - a women's game between No. 7-ranked Notre Dame and No. 19-ranked Ohio State at 4 p.m. A men's match-up between No. 4 Ohio State and Marquette follows up at 7 p.m., also from the deck of the Yorktown.

All three games will be carried on NBC Sports Network.

We have a fascinating video above that shows the process of converting the deck of the Bataan from being an active floating runway to being the hardwood floor for an NCAA shoot-out.
