ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. -- Four suspects were taken into custody after leading police on a high speed chase on Interstate 20 overnight.
The police pursuit began in the Atlanta area, passed through DeKalb County and made its way to I-20 east, according to dispatchers. The suspects eventually crashed their red Chevrolet Camaro just before Exit 80 in Rockdale County.
Three passengers in the car were arrested, according to Georgia State Patrol. The driver jumped over a median wall and ran into a nearby industrial park. Police eventually tracked him down and arrested him. No names have been released.
All four suspects were turned over to DeKalb County for charges. Dispatchers said the Camaro was reported stolen out of Clayton County.
Officers from Rockdale County, Conyers Police and the Georgia State Patrol were involved in the pursuit.
