Former Clayton officer gets 10 years in prison for drug dealing

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A former Clayton County police officer on the wrong side law will spend the next ten years in prison.

Dwayne Penn received the sentence Friday after pleading guilty to cocaine distribution.

Authorities say Penn, who was working for the Clayton County Police Department, conspired with a drug dealer.

A person that Penn and the dealer recruited to help, was actually an FBI informant.
