ATLANTA -- Atlanta Public Schools have decided how to make up the days missed by the recent snowstorm.
Officials will adjust the school calendar to give students six more days in class.
Administrators say there was a teacher work day planned for March 17 that will now be a regular school day. They'll also move the CRCT back a week to give students more time prepare, and make up the missed days.
"There's never enough time. We always want more," said Steven Smith of APS, "We always want the opportunity to have as much contact time as we can with our students for their learning. But given the circumstances we feel very confident that this is a way for us to move forward."
The district is also offering a homework hotline on its website weekdays from 4 to 9 p.m. to help with any homework problems.
