ATLANTA -- A construction crane on Cheshire Bridge Road toppled on its side and stuck the top of a water storage tank that's under construction.

The crane fell at 1950 Cheshire Bridge Road near Piedmont at about 9 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities at the scene say there were no injuries.
"From over here, it caught me by surprise," said Eric Hill, who was installing underground piping nearby. "It almost sounded like a grenade going off. That's how loud it was. I'm just thankful no one got hurt."
Construction crews told 11Alive the crane operator works for Archer Western, which is based in Atlanta.
The construction site is part of Atlanta's $35 million project to build relief storage and pumping stations for Peachtree Creek's South Fork.
