WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A construction trailer near the entrance of a Cherokee County subdivision caught fire Thursday morning.

The fire broke out shortly after 9 a.m. in the Oakhurst subdivision on Grand Oaks Drive.

Woodstock police spokeswoman Brittany Duncan said nobody was in the trailer at the time, and investigators do not think the weather is to blame for the fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, but the flames and smoke caused extensive damage to the inside of the trailer. No one was hurt.

The exact cause of the fire is now under investigation.
