ALPHARETTA -- Close to 100 Georgia Power contractors spent Wednesday night in trailers, getting rest for what would be a busy Thursday helping customers get their power back.
The contractors stayed in a Emergency Housing Trailers, which were brought in from Louisiana. In all, there were 30 trailers each housing 12 workers.
The trailers were needed to keep the contractors together so they wouldn't take up hotel space but also allow them to get their required rest.
In all, over 220,000 customers lost power between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning due to the winter storm.
