A 9-year-old Alabama boy has his heart in the right place for Valentine's Day.
Tanner Long is writing valentines to sick kids in the hospital.
"The kids in the hospital [can't] even get to go to school and do these things, I can," Tanner said. "So I'm making them Valentine's cards so they don't feel left out or forgotten."
Tanner has a life-threatening heart condition, so he says he knows a lot about how it feels to be in the hospital.
He's writing the cards as part of a community service project to get a black belt in taekwando. He is hoping to deliver more than 100 cards with his community's help.
