DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- A large fire broke out at a former Department of Labor building in DeKalb County Tuesday morning.
The building is located at 4151 Memorial Drive. Its roof has collapsed, and DeKalb County Fire Capt. Eric Jackson said the fire is "literally burning from one end of the building to another."
Officials said Memorial Drive, Covington Highway and Kensington Road are all closed as crews work to battle the fire.
Despite the cold weather, Jackson said there have been no reports of any slippage among firefighters on the scene, and no one has been injured.
A Department of Labor spokesman said the department no longer occupies the building.
