COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- Several law enforcement agencies joined forces on Monday for warrant round up in Clayton County called "Operation Dark Knight."
Agents from the Clayton County Police Department and Sheriff's Office, among others, attempted to serve warrants in the greater College Park area. The warrants ranged from traffic citations to felony charges.
This is something that goes on behind the scenes. We wanted to bring it to the public's attention that we are out here working together to try and get these individuals off the street," said Captain Stefan Schindler.
Schindler said there is a perception that police officers and sheriff's deputies do not work together in Clayton County. He said one reason the media was invited to "Operation Dark Knight" was to show the public the agencies are a joint force.
