FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A man was killed after being hit by two cars on Old National Highway Monday morning.
The unidentified pedestrian was struck shortly after midnight just south of Jolly Road in south Fulton County.
Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester said the victim darted into traffic and was hit by a small SUV, which knocked him into another lane. He was then hit by a second car.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Lester said both drivers who hit him stayed on the scene and will not face charges.
Lester said the victim was a middle-aged black man. Police are investigating the possibility that he was under the influence when he stepped into the road.
