COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- Cobb County police said they are looking for suspects in two armed robberies -- one in Marietta and one in Austell.

The Marietta robbery happened Saturday evening at Molina's Check Cashing on Windy Hill Road. Police said a male suspect entered the business and showed a handgun to employees there, demanding money. The suspect, authorities said, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a blue four-door Mazda or Nissan.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

The Austell robbery happened Sunday evening at the Family Dollar store at 401 Six Flags Drive. In that robbery, police said a white male entered the store and approached two employees, demanding money while brandishing a handgun.

Police said that suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a small maroon or orange colored crossover-style SUV with an out-of-state license tag. The suspect is described as a white male, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6 inches tall, between 20 and 25 years of age. Investigators said he was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a red baseball cap, dark colored jeans and black and white Puma sneakers.

Anyone with information about either crime is asked to call Cobb County Police at 770-499-3945.
