SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Authorities recovered a body from the Chattahoochee River on Thursday afternoon.
According to Captain Steve Rose from the Sandy Springs Police Department, a fisherman discovered the body floating near the dock, at the the base of the park.
The body was recovered and taken to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office to be examined for identification.
Authorities think the body may be Gary Morris, a Roswell resident who was reported missing on December 6. However, police have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
