DELALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Four people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at the Meadowglen Village Apartments that left a 6 year-old girl wounded by a stray bullet.
Police said the shooting happened just after 3 p.m., Monday at the apartment complex just off of Pleasantdale Road.
Investigators said the girl and her mother were walking home from a bus stop when they heard the gunshots. When they got home, they discovered the girl had been hit in the leg.
Tuesday, police arrested Leo Laster, 28; Christopher Koen, 33; Brandon Palmer, 21 and Chimeska Jackson, 35. Laster, Koen and Palmer were charged with aggravated assault. Jackson was charged with obstruction.
The girl was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.
