Empty Roswell apartments go up in flames

ROSWELL, Ga. -- An abandoned apartment building in Roswell was heavily damaged by fire overnight.

The fire broke out at around 12:15 a.m. Friday. It was contained to a block of empty apartments on Frazier Street at Wren Court.

No one was injured. Dispatchers said a portion of the burned building had already been torn down, and a chain-link fenced surrounded the property.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
