ATLANTA-When Holly Smith noticed a traffic signal that prompted pedestrians to walk right into oncoming traffic, she contacted Commuter Dude.
An email and a phone call later, the problem was resolved.
While driving her child to school, Holly noticed the signal on permanent "walk" at the intersection of Lucile Avenue and Langhorn Street in Atlanta's West End.
"A small child could potentially walk into traffic, and depending on the time of day, somebody could get hit easily," said Smith.
Commuter Dude contacted the city of Atlanta's Department of Public works. A crew quickly responded and repaired the malfunctioning signal.
