ACWORTH, Ga. -- Investigators in Cherokee County have located two children who may have run away from home.
Cherokee County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Baker said 13-year-old Kimberly Nicole Ayala and 11-year-old Samuel Meadors have been missing since about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Ayala has brown eyes, highlighted brown hair and pierced ears. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
Meadors has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants with an "S" patch on the backside.
Baker said both children live at the Hidden Falls Mobile Home Park off Bells Ferry Road.
The children returned home around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both juveniles have been charged with Runaway and will remain in the custody of their parents.
