Macy's Great Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving

An Atlanta holiday tradition will be getting started a little earlier this year.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with the lighting of the Macy's Great Tree at Lenox Square Mall on Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.

The evening will include performances from country singer and songwriter Brett Eldredge, Megan Hilty from NBC's Smash and the current comedy Sean Saves the World and The Voice season four finalist and 20 Feet From Stardom lead Judith Hill.

This spectacular staged production will also include entertainment from the Macy's All-Star Holiday Choir, Macy's Great Tree Children's Choir and the Macy's Magical Stars.

Immediately following the fireworks finale, Macy's Lenox store will open for holiday shopping. 

All other Macy's locations will open at 8 p.m.
