Paulding County Sheriff's Cpl. Ashley Henson said the three men are accused of a "quick change" operation. Henson said this type of crime involves a suspect buying an inexpensive item and handing the cashier a large bill. The suspect then uses jumbled language and quick hand movements to confuse the cashier into giving up more change than what is owed.
Henson said the suspects have struck the Walmart on Marietta Highway in Dallas two times -- once in September and once last week. One suspect performed the quick changes, while the other two acted as lookouts.
"The individuals involved are professionals and have obtained a significant amount of money through this quick changes scam," Henson said in a statement.
Anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to call the Paulding County Sheriff's Office at 770-443-3015.
