Reward increased in Sandy Springs murder

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Sandy Springs police have increased a reward for information in a fatal shooting last week.

Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose said a 28-year-old Hispanic man was shot to death Nov. 15 at a shopping center on Northwood Drive, just south of Interstate 285.

Tranquilino "Frankie" Lorenzo-Garcia is wanted in connection with the shooting. He is 31 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Rose said police are offering $8,000 in addition to the $2,000 offered by Crime Stoppers Atlanta for information leading to Lorenzo-Garcia's arrest.
