ATLANTA -- A firefighter suffered second degree burns to his shoulder while battling a fire in Atlanta Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at around 3:40 a.m. at a house on Sunset Avenue NW and quickly spread to the house next door.
The firefighter was treated at the scene. There were no reports of other injuries.
One house was completely destroyed in the blaze, while the other suffered heavy damage. An Atlanta fire official said one of the houses was abandoned.
