Witnesses sought in Sandy Springs shooting

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Police would like to speak with two men who may have information about a recent shooting at a Sandy Springs bar.

The shooting happened at around 2:20 a.m. Monday at Tailfeathers Restaurant & Piano Bar near the intersection of Roswell Road and Hammond Drive.

Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose said the victim, 22-year-old Rodriguez Price, got into a fight with another man inside the bar. As Price tried to walk to his car, the same man shot him and then ran.

Price was taken to North Fulton Hospital. He is expect to recover.

The gunman is still at large. Rose said police believe he is a heavyset black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, who fled the scene in a black sedan.

Two men were photographed inside the bar that same night; Rose said police believe the men know something about the shooting. They are now asking the men in the photo to come forward.
