4 indicted for killing man outside gas station

MABLETON, Ga. -- Four Cobb County residents have been indicted by a grand jury for killing a man outside a Mableton gas station.

Johnathan Anthony, Kemonta Bonds, Antonio Pass and Jekari Strozier are accused of beating and stomping 36-year-old Joshua Chellew, then pushing him into the path of a car on June 30.

The defendants were indicted Thursday. They face charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and violating Georgia's Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

If convicted, the four defendants face life in prison. They are currently being held without bond in the Cobb County Jail.

Arraignment dates have not yet been set.
