ATLANTA -- Two people were shot near the Georgia Dome just before the Falcons' first regular season home game, according to Atlanta Police.
Both victims are currently in stable condition at a local hospital.

Preliminary info is that the male and female victims were at the Subway restaurant at Northside Dr and Markham St. and became involved in an argument with a male there. The male was shot in the leg, while the female was shot in the arm.
The incident occurred three blocks south of the dome before kickoff around 12:35 p.m.
No arrests have been made as the shooter has yet to be located.
It is not clear at this time whether the victims were headed to the game. The investigation continues.
