ATLANTA (AP) - Fulton County District Attorney's officials say a man has been sentenced in the death of a paralegal.

District Attorney's spokeswoman Yvette Jones says 30-year-old Torico Jackson was found guilty Wednesday of murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and burglary.

Jackson was suspected in the 2004 death of 32-year-old John Ray, who worked as a paralegal for Fulton County. Investigators have said Ray was found dead inside of his home and his hands were tied behind his back. Officials have said Ray was beaten and stabbed.

Jones says the case was dormant for six years until DNA evidence connected Jackson to the crime. Jackson was arrested in Ray's death in 2011 while he was serving prison time for robbery.

Jackson has been sentenced to two consecutive life sentences, plus 25 years.
