ATLANTA -- A MARTA bus crashed into a pole Monday morning just west of Northside Drive in Atlanta.
The collision happened just after 12:00 a.m. on Brady Drive, and took power lines down. Some businesses in the area lost power briefly overnight, as a transformer was blown by the impact.
"The bus turned the corner and she definitely hit the pole head on," passenger Jamal Young said.
Atlanta police responded to the accident. The MARTA bus was able to drive away once investigation was completed.
According to Young, everyone was a little shaken up, but no one seemed to be hurt.
