ATLANTA -- A man hunt for one of Clayton County's top ten wanted fugitives came to an end early Saturday morning in southwest Atlanta.
Victoriano Javier Perez, who according to U.S. Marshals is wanted for murder, was apprehended by investigators with the U.S. Marshal Service, including two Fugitive Investigators from Clayton County Sheriff's Office on Regents Road in Atlanta.
Shots were fired by members of other agencies; however, Perez refused to surrender. He did not suffer any gunshot wounds.
Atlanta SWAT was contacted and responded to the scene. Perez was subsequently arrested and is now in custody at the Clayton County Detention Facility with no bond.
This is the same fugitive that absconded during an arrest attempt last week on Stonewall Tell Rd. in Fulton County.
