BROOKHAVEN, Ga. -- A professional soccer player is currently being held on charges he raped a woman in a Brookhaven home.
According to Brookhaven officials, 24-year-old Bryan Arguez was in town for a game when the rape occurred in early August. Arguez is currently a member of the North American Soccer League's Carolina RailHawks.
Investigators say Arguez was staying at a friend's house with a teammate and two women. One of the women reported finding the suspect on top of her when she woke up the next morning.
Brookhaven Police arrested Arguez on the scene and transported him to the DeKalb County Jail.
On Wednesday afternoon, Arguez was granted a $75,000 bond. He is currently in police custody.
