WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- The brand new Chick-fil-A in Woodstock opened Thursday morning, and more than 130 people began camping out outside the restaurant Wednesday morning to be among its first customers.
Every time a new Chick-fil-A opens, the Atlanta-based chain gives away a year's worth of meals to the first 100 people in line.
At 6 a.m. Thursday, the lucky winners entered the restaurant and received their meal vouchers.

The First 100 event was created in 2003 at Chick-fil-A's first stand-alone Arizona location. Since then, it has given away more than $18 million worth of food at nearly 700 openings.
Woodstock's new Chick-fil-A is located at 951 Ridgewalk Parkway near the new Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta mall. It is one of 114 new Chick-fil-As to open nationwide in 2013.
