ATLANTA -- An arrest was made Thursday in a serious hit-and-run accident that happened Friday, August 23.
Atlanta Police said they arrested 38-year-old Byron Perry. He was charged with the hit-and-run of 21-year-old Brianna Johnson and 22-year-old Adrienne Smith.
The incident happened on the 800 block of Peeples Street. While driving a white 2013 Ford Edge SUV, Perry tried to make a turn but ran off the road. He hit a brick wall, where Johnson and Smith were sitting.
Perry faces nine charges relating to the incident, including serious injury by vehicle and two counts of hit and run.
Perry was already on probation and turned himself into the Fulton County Jail.
