Video: Two killed in wreck on I-75 NB in Clayton Co.

A man was killed in an accident which has blocked two lanes of northbound Interstate 75 at Jonesboro Road (Exit 233) in Clayton County.

MORROW, Ga. (WXIA) -- Clayton County authorities have charged 61-year-old Kenneth Ebel with two counts of second degree vehicular homicide for an accident that killed two people on Monday afternoon. 

According to police, two people were killed while changing a tire on the entrance ramp to I-75 at Jonesboro Road in Clayton County. 

Capt. James Callaway of the Morrow Police Department said a motorist stepped from his vehicle to change a tire and was struck and killed. A second person was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition. No names have been released.

Police say the victims are a brother and sister from outside the area.

The driver who hit the victims stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police, Callaway said.

Traffic was allowed to resume its normal flow shortly after 2 p.m.
