FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. -- Students in Fannin County are getting an unexpected day off from school Monday.
Classes are cancelled at all five Fannin County schools because of a large water main break. The break was located off Highway 515 in Blue Ridge and caused an alarming drop in the county's water reserve.
A county official confirmed crews had a hard time locating the break underground. It was found and repaired early Monday after roughly four days of searching.
Officials expected classes to resume as normal Tuesday.
