LITHONIA, Ga. -- Two teens were shot after reportedly breaking into a home Monday afternoon.
According to DeKalb Police Public Information Officer Mekka Parrish, two teens broke into home and the resident shot them inside.
Parrish says three teens were in a stolen car and backed into a driveway on Donna Way in Lithonia.
Two teens apparently went to the door and rang the doorbell. Parrish says the homeowner was about to open the door when he saw the two go around the house to the back door.
The owner then armed himself and when the teens reportedly broke into the back door, the owner shot both teens.
All three teens ran away, but were arrested nearby.
