ATLANTA -- The Charity Benevolent Fund Track Club will hold a "Back to School Supply Drive and 5K Run/Walk" at Piedmont Park on August 10.
The event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. It's designed to help students in grades K-12 who need backpacks and school supplies for the new school year.
Runners taking part in the 5K will get $5 off their registration if they bring a backpack.

The Charity Benevolent Fund is a non-profit organization started last year with a goal to raise awareness about the lack of basic necessities in our communities, to educate homeowners on preventing foreclosure, to promote health and to end poverty.
