1. World Cup to Atlanta?
The United States won its fifth Gold Cup title over the weekend. Its last win was back in 2007. The U.S. could take home another championship in Atlanta one day, or maybe even host the World Cup, thanks to the new Falcons stadium.
2. DeKalb CEO in court
Suspended DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis will appear before a judge Monday. Ellis is scheduled for an arraignment on several charges, including extortion.
3. Waffle House shooting
A man trying to rob a south Fulton County Waffle House was shot by a customer Monday morning.
4. Andrea Sneiderman trial starts
Andrea Sneiderman heads to court Monday for the start of her trial, days after prosecutors dropped murder charges.
5. Man arrested in Lake Lanier boating accident

8. Morning wreck in Conyers
The accident happened before 6 a.m. on I-20 just before Sigman Road. The Georgia Department of Transportation said at least one person was injured.
9. Jet makes emergency landing in Ga.
More than 150 passengers made it off an Allegiant Air jet that made an emergency landing at a south Georgia airport.
