DECATUR, Ga. -- The 11Alive News Today morning team stayed inside the Perimeter for this week's "This is Home" morning show, broadcasting live from beautiful downtown Decatur.

Kids, adults and one giant lizard braved the July humidity to spend part of their morning on the Decatur Square with Karyn Greer, Ted Hall and Elle Duncan.
The talented young women from Druid Hills Dance Center and Barefoot n Motion showed off their moves for the crowd.

Tumblers from Atlanta Gymnastics Center also flipped around on the Square.

Local band Clap for Daylight performed live, and the cast of OnStage Atlanta's production of Young Frankenstein gave a little preview of their show.
Current "America's Got Talent" contestant and self-proclaimed awkward comedian Taylor Williamson also stopped by to crack up the crowd.

Finally, a Decatur show would not be complete without a visit from BookZilla, mascot of the AJC Decatur Book Festival.

A brand new brewery, Three Taverns, just opened in Decatur and made its very first delivery during the show.
