A young camper from Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlanta tosses with Darren Waller of Tech.
ATLANTA, Ga. - - About 130 at risk youth from Atlanta Boys and Girls Clubs got some football instruction and more at a free camp at Georgia Tech. The Chick-Fil-A Foundation and the Yellow Jackets football program teamed up for this one.
Players taught some fundamentals, but the kids also got some exposure to the college atmosphere in general. It's an experience they probably wouldn't get in their day to day surroundings.
11 Alive spoke with instructors Darren Waller and B. J. Bostic, who play receiver and running back respectively for Paul Johnson's Jackets.
