ATLANTA - The Detroit Pistons have agreed to terms with Josh Smith on a four-year deal with a reported $56 million.
The 27-year-old forward, who is a Georgia native, spent his first nine years in the NBA with Atlanta. During the 2012-13 season, the now former Hawk averaged 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
The deal will not be official until Wednesday, as contracts cannot be officially signed until Jul 10.
