ATLANTA -- Authorities have arrested a man they believe is responsible for the shooting death of a man in northwest Atlanta.
The suspect, Drexton Thomas, was arrested on Tuesday and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
Thomas is accused of shooting a man on June 28 on the 600 block of Jett Street. Witnesses reported a male called "Deck" had been arguing with the victim's son prior to the shooting.
According to witnesses, the suspect, Thomas, then robbed the son at gunpoint and then shot the victim. After shooting the victim, the Thomas, allegedly, took money from the victim and fled the location.
He is being held on felony murder charges. He was denied bond on Wednesday morning.
