SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Sandy Springs Police are looking to identify the person involved in a hit and run Sunday morning around 4 a.m. on Roswell Road at the westbound entrance ramp to I-285.
The crash resulted in series injury after a motorcycle, traveling south on Roswell Road, was hit by a vehicle, described as a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, that turned in front of and collided with the bike.
The victim was taken to Atlanta Medical Center and is listed in critical condition. He has been identified as 22-year-old Alejandro Palombini of Buford.
After striking Palombini, the Cherokee fled west on 285. The car is missing the grill and the entire front bumper.
