Both men face murder and aggravated assault charges in the May 29 death of Drexel Berry, who was shot on Cooper Street. He managed to run to Pryor Street for help and was eventually taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Atlanta Police Sgt. Greg Lyon said Benton and Guffie were arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop.
