STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- DeKalb Police are investigating a double shooting Tuesday night at a home in Stone Mountain.

When police arrived on the scene in the 4200 block of Carrollwood Drive at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, they found two men shot inside in an apparent home invasion.

What's unusual about the case is the way the 911 call came in.

Because of a language barrier, someone in the home apparently called a contact in New York, who called for help.

They were taken to a hospital in critical condition but are expected to recover.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects.
