WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A van equipped with a wheelchair ramp for a disabled 12 year old was stolen out of the child's driveway overnight.
It was found at a Cobb County hotel Monday afternoon.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said the van was taken Sunday night or early Monday morning from a home on Ridgewood Drive in Woodstock.
Cherokee County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Baker says the suspects have not been located at this time.
The van is customized for a child with spina bifida. The 12-year-old boy's leg braces, some cash and a laptop computer were all inside the van when it was taken, Baker said. Both the braces and the laptop were found inside the van, but the cash was not recovered.
