Atlanta -- Police say a man in his early 40's was pronounced dead at Grady Hospital early Friday morning following a disturbance at a house in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. NW.
Atlanta Police Night Commander Capt. Tim Peek said officers answered the call around 2:50 a.m., gained entrance to the house and found a man lying in the floor in critical condition. The man was transported to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Peek said police are investigating to learn what happened in the house and said the Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
Peek said the man did not live at the address, but said he was known by at least some of those who do live there. He said those who reside in the home include elderly people as well as what he described as 'kids'.
